Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI)

Through the HASI program, we provide flexible, community-based support, so people can:

  • identify their values and goals and make progress towards achieving them
  • manage medication and treatment
  • enhance their physical health and wellbeing
  • participate in the community of choice
  • gaining greater independence
  • transition from mental health admission back into the community.

Support workers use their professional skills to listen to and support people through regular visits to their homes and in the local community.

Group programs

Our group programs support people to develop knowledge, skills and resources that are consistent with their personal goals and values. Neami Mid North Coast offers the group programs Flourish and Health Matters.

Together Home

Together Home is a key initiative supporting the Premier’s Priority to halve street homelessness by 2025. This initiative aims to transition people onto a trajectory away from homelessness and into long-term, stable housing while improving overall personal wellbeing.

Neami and Community Housing Limited deliver the Housing-First program in partnership.

Access to housing and support through the program addresses people’s needs while building individual capability and capacity. By understanding each person’s needs and goals, Together Home also fosters local connections to support people to thrive in the community.

Eligibility and referral

Individuals, carers, families, health professionals and other community services can make referrals after discussing the referral with the individual.

We encourage referrals from people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and refugees.
