Head to Health pop up clinics provide additional mental health support for people living in New South Wales who have been substantially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The clinics offer support from a multi-disciplinary team including mental health support workers, including psychologists, mental health nurses, mental health occupational therapists, social workers, and peer workers.
We offer video and phone supported mental health and assessment services, as well as COVID-safe face-to-face support where recommended by a clinician.
Eligibility and referral
The Head to Heath Pop Up is a free service for people who are:
- experiencing distress, feeling overwhelmed or are worried about their wellbeing
- experiencing increased life stressors due to COVID-19
- Noticing usual coping strategies are not working
- do not need urgent medical attention.
Individuals, carers, families, health professionals and other community services can make referrals after discussing the referral with the individual.
We encourage referrals from people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and refugees.
Referrals can be made by calling 1800 595 212.
