Emily Castagnini

Research Officer

Emily is a mental health researcher with technical skills in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and in health program evaluation obtained in her Masters of Public Health. These practical skills are interwoven with and strengthened by her lived experience expertise and driven by her passion for improving all health outcomes for people with mental health challenges. She has worked in a range of academic and service delivery settings, and in a variety of roles within the sector. Working in different parts of the mental health system and in different roles has shown her how influential systemic and organisational factors are on service user outcomes, which has sparked her more recent passion for helping organisations understand workforce challenges.
