What to expect

Community Living Supports (CLS)

Community Living Supports (CLS) is a NSW Health program that supports people living with significant mental health challenges to build independence, strengthen connections and live well.

CLS is for people who would benefit from flexible, community-based support and provides:

  • support to build everyday living skills and independence
  • support to access healthcare and other services
  • assistance with taking part in community activities, including education, employment and social connections
  • support to maintain housing and manage day-to-day responsibilities
  • personalised support for wellbeing and mental health challenges.

CLS does not provide crisis care or clinical support. If you need urgent mental health support or a clinical assessment, contact the NSW Mental Health Line on 1800 011 511.
