This is why late last year, we launched our first People Strategy.
The strategy will help to guide how Neami attracts, develops and retains staff over the next three years. To ensure that Neami supports the needs of people who use our services, we must nurture a great workforce and provide a great place to work. The People Strategy will focus on supporting staff to bring their best selves to deliver great outcomes for the people we support.
The strategy has been designed in consultation with staff.
Key priorities of the strategy
- Attraction – Developing a compelling employer brand that attracts high-quality candidates within and beyond the mental health sector.
- Employee-led wellness – A wellness journey that benefits all employees at all stages.
- Diversity and Inclusion Framework – An updated and progressive Diversity and Inclusion Framework driven by an intersectional lived experience lens.
The People Strategy integrates closely with projects already underway across Neami, including the implementation of Indigenous Governance principles and our new Future State structure.
