Opie is the first dog who inspired me to start giving out treats to the neighbourhood dogs. This whole journey has shown me how important pets are for mental health. I would like to see affordable options for people to train up their own therapy dog as a certified assistant dog to enhance theirs and the dog’s wellbeing. Or even have more ‘Neami’ therapy dogs in groups/one on ones.
