Geelong Zero brings together local organisations to reduce homelessness in the Geelong region and end rough sleeping by 2025.
Through a Collective Impact approach and an evidence-based strategy, we are working in partnership to ensure that homelessness is rare, brief and nonreccurring.
Geelong Zero will officially launch on the 14 October 2022.
Geelong Zero is a community led initiative supported by Neami National, the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH) and local organisations.
Community Connection Week
Community Connection Week will run during the week commencing 10 October 2022, coinciding with World Homelessness Awareness Day.
On Wednesday, 12 October and Thursday, 13 October volunteers will be chatting with people sleeping rough in the Geelong area and asking them to take part in a survey to determine the support they need.
On Friday, 14 October the Geelong Zero project will officially launch, and the findings from the surveys will be shared with the community. If you’d like to attend the event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
