What to expect
If you consent to support, you will be referred to the service. An EPPS worker will respond to the referral within 48 hours.
EPPS is a safe and welcoming service, where we work with you in ways that respect and support you.
Putting your needs first
We provide support for up to two years, working with you at your own pace to:
- understand what’s important to you
- build on your strengths
- be supported by someone with lived experience to explore what hope and confidence looks like for you
- improve your mental health and wellbeing
- support you to manage stress and tough emotions
- strengthen your skills for everyday life
- support you to explore and connect with your community
- explore options for starting or getting back to study or work
- link you up with other services if you want to connect with them.
Flexible support, your way
EPPS is delivered by an integrated team of Youth Peer Workers, Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Workers and a Peer Lead. We can meet you at home, at the service, in your community, over the phone or via video chat.
We understand how important family and friends can be to a young person’s wellbeing. We can help with building stronger connections with your (chosen) family, friends and community, to help you feel supported. We can also help you connect with other local services that you feel suit your needs.
This service is free for participants.
