Strathpine Safe Space is a free, safe and welcoming alternative to emergency departments for people experiencing distress or suicidal crisis, led by peer workers who understand.

What to expect
Our aim is for you to leave Safe Space with a sense of hope and positivity, feeling you’ve been heard and supported.
When it’s time to leave, our peer workers can help you arrange transport, and connect you to other appropriate services and resources.
We also offer a follow-up phone call to check on your wellbeing 24 and 72 hours after your visit.
Strathpine Safe Space is free for all guests.
