About Logan Crisis Support Space
What to expect
The Logan Crisis Support Space (LCSS) is a welcoming place for people experiencing high levels of distress, who are feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope.
We offer a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment, and work with you to understand what will help right now. We can also connect you with other supports if needed.
The space has been designed for you to experience crisis support differently; support with empathy and compassion. We take the time to listen, understand, and offer non-judgemental support to explore your distress.
You will be supported by a Peer Worker who has their own lived experience of emotional distress. You can also speak with a clinician if needed.
For your first visit, you will be referred to the service after presenting to the Logan Hospital emergency department. After this, you can access Logan Crisis Support Space directly, without needing to visit the emergency department.
The Logan Crisis Support Space is free for all guests.
