About this service
Strathpine Safe Space is a safe and welcoming alternative to emergency departments for people experiencing distress or suicidal crisis, led by peer workers who understand.
Temporary closure – Strathpine Safe Space
Strathpine Safe Space is currently closed and is expected to reopen on Friday 27 March 2026.
If you are experiencing distress or having thoughts of suicide, support is still available. The Strathpine Medicare Mental Health Centre is a free and welcoming place where you can access mental health and social and emotional wellbeing support.
You can visit without an appointment:
7/327 Gympie Road, Strathpine
Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm

24/7 phone support is also available from Lifeline on 13 11 14.
