About the service

The Northern Melbourne Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Service offers individual coaching and group activities for people who live with ongoing mental health challenges that affect their daily life, and do not access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Who is this for?

This service is for people who:

  • experience mental health challenges that impact their quality of life
  • are not eligible for the NDIS or their NDIS application has been declined
  • live in or are connected to the areas of:
    • Darebin
    • Hume
    • Merri-bek
    • Yarra
    • Melbourne
    • Moonee Valley
    • Macedon Ranges.

What to expect

Accessing the service

Anyone can make a referral to the Northern Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Service including:

  • you
  • your doctor or General Practitioner (GP)
  • a family member or friend
  • other mental health or health services.
