Jemima Isbester appointed to National Lived Experience Practice Lead

We’re delighted to share that Jemima Isbester has been appointed as Neami’s National Lived Experience Practice Lead.

Jemima brings over a decade of experience in peer work and leadership. Jemima is a certified Intentional Peer Support (IPS) trainer and holds qualifications in Mental Health Peer Work and in leadership and management.

Jemima was appointment from within Neami, where she’s held the role of Integrated Support Stream Lived Experience Lead. Jemima’s impact in this role has been significant, including establishing  lived experience co-reflection and communities of practice, supporting the implementation of Neami’s co-creating safety approach and leading a Lived Experience discipline-specific supervision project.

Prior to Neami, Jemima has held senior roles including Senior Peer Worker with Sydney Local Health District. In these roles Jemima’s leadership has helped to grow lived experience workforces, embed supervision and training structures, and she has contributed to lived experienced-led quality improvements.
