What is THRIVE?
Neami National and Get Skilled Access have partnered to develop THRIVE, a pilot program focused on improving job readiness and workplace inclusivity for people that experience mental health challenges or psychosocial disability.
THRIVE includes a suite of e-learning modules and workshops that guide participants and employers toward inclusive recruitment and inclusive workplace practices.
Welcome to the training hub for readiness and inclusive vocational engagement, THRIVE.
This program takes you on a journey from job readiness through maintaining employment.
THRIVE was created to meet the unique needs of your personal employment journey wherever it may lead.
Under Neami National Thrive peer coaches will walk alongside you to support you through your entire THRIVE Journey from start to finish.
Your Thrive peer coaches were selected because their lived and living experience of mental health challenges can help them better identify with the employment challenges you may be facing.
Thrive includes online e-learning modules: group workshops and one-to-one coaching.
These learning modules workshops and coaching sessions guide you through uncovering your strengths searching for jobs that fit your personality, values, passions and your unique mental health needs.
Writing a resume and sitting for interviews understanding your employment rights and maintaining employment through resilience and effective communication strategies.
Throughout your THRIVE journey, you will also have opportunities to connect with peers that have similarly experienced employment challenges due to their Mental Health.
Your THRIVE journey is all about improving outcomes on the unique employment path you want to travel every e-learning module workshop and coaching session is optional.
So how do you get started with THRIVE. Well after enrolment you’ll receive a welcome email along with the start date for your driveway and your e-learning login details simply follow the email directions and log in to begin your journey.
Don’t forget your Thrive journey is self-paced Neami has created a variety of resources to choose from.
Now it’s time to choose the paths you want to travel to make this journey your own and remember your Neami National THRIVE peer coaches and your fellow THRIVE classmates will be there to walk alongside you the entire way.
You may choose your own unique path but you will never walk alone when you thrive.

THRIVE consists of free self-paced, online learning modules covering a range of employment topics.
As a THRIVE participant, you can also sign up for specialised workshops facilitated by lived experience coaches.

THRIVE offers participants opportunities to:
- connect with individuals that have experienced similar employment difficulties
- learn about seeking and maintaining employment
- learn about maintaining mental health in the workplace
- learn about safe sharing and your mental health rights in the workplace
- You are between the ages of 18-65
- You reside in WA, VIC, SA, QLD, or NSW
- Your experience of employment has been impacted by personal mental health challenges or psychosocial disability
Employers and Managers
THRIVE offers organisations an opportunity to create an inclusive and psychologically safe environment for people with mental health challenges and psychosocial disability in the workplace.
As a THRIVE organisation, you will have access to a suite of online Inclusive Management Modules and workshops. Additionally, a disability sector specialist will guide you through assessment and improvement of the Inclusiveness Culture and recruitment processes at your organisation.
