As part of the Neami Executive Leadership Team, Kim and Helene will oversee the strategic management and delivery of Neami’s national service footprint.
Kim will be responsible for oversight of our Victorian and New South Wales operations and comes to the Executive Director Operations role having acted in the interim role for the past year.
Prior to that Kim oversaw Neami’s operations in South Australia as State Manager South Australia for over nine years.
Kim has a long history of leading operations in large national not-for-profit organisations as well as state government and is driven by a commitment to high quality services and high impact teams.
Kim has contributed strategically within the mental health system through her past role as President of the Mental Health Coalition SA and as a Board Director of Community Mental Health Australia.
Helene will be responsible for oversight of our Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia operations.
Most recently she held the position of Neami’s Acting State Manager in South Australia. Helene is a values-based leader, with a strong focus on elevating lived and living experience, positive team culture and strong practice governance, whilst ensuring that consumers are at the centre of every decision.
Helene’s experience extends across Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Homelessness, Juvenile Justice, and Registered Training Organisations, in Australia, Norway and the United Kingdom.
Helene brings more than 20 years leadership experience across varied community services, at operational and strategic level, in both non-government and government organisations.
