Neami National and Get Skilled Access have partnered to develop THRIVE, a pilot program focused on improving job readiness and workplace inclusivity for people that experience mental health challenges or psychosocial disability.

THRIVE includes a suite of e-learning modules and workshops that guide participants and employers toward inclusive recruitment and inclusive workplace practices.

Job Seekers and Employees

THRIVE consists of free self-paced, online learning modules covering a range of employment topics.

As a THRIVE participant, you can also sign up for specialised workshops facilitated by lived experience coaches.

Workshops:

  1. Understanding my Strengths and Interests
  2. Assertiveness, Communication, and Conflict Resolution
  3. Maintaining Mental Health in the Workplace

THRIVE offers participants opportunities to:

  • connect with individuals that have experienced similar employment difficulties
  • learn about seeking and maintaining employment
  • learn about maintaining mental health in the workplace
  • learn about safe sharing and your mental health rights in the workplace

Eligibility:

  • You are between the ages of 18-65
  • You reside in WA, VIC, SA, QLD, or NSW
  • Your experience of employment has been impacted by personal mental health challenges or psychosocial disability

Employers and Managers

THRIVE offers organisations an opportunity to create an inclusive and psychologically safe environment for people with mental ill health and psychosocial disability in the workplace.

As a THRIVE organisation, you will have access to a suite of online Inclusive Management Modules and workshops. Additionally, a disability sector specialist will guide you through assessment and improvement of the Inclusiveness Culture and recruitment processes at your organisation.
