Hear2Talk is a peer-run phone support service to improve mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

What to expect
Support from someone who understands
When you call Hear2Talk, you’ll speak with one of our skilled peer workers who have first-hand experience in managing stress, anxiety or wellbeing challenges.
They’ll take the time to listen to you and understand what you’re experiencing. They can then help you identify your strengths to build strategies for managing the challenges you face in work and life.
Follow up support
Some people find a follow up call a few days after you’ve spoken with Hear2Talk valuable. At the end of every call, we’ll ask if you’d like to hear from us again to check in and see how you’re doing.
If you would like additional support, our peer workers will connect you with other appropriate support services to continue your wellbeing.
This service is free for all participants
Hear2Talk’s phone lines are answered by Peer Workers, who have first-hand experience of navigating stress in the workplace.
During your call to Hear2Talk, Peer Workers can help you to develop strategies to cope, build resilience and support you to make positive changes to improve your situation.
Yes. If you call outside of our opening hours or if we are busy attending to other calls, you can leave a voicemail for a call-back.
You can also call and speak to us during opening hours to schedule a time to speak with one of the Hear2Talk team for later.
If you’ve had a call and would like to receive a follow up call to check-in, we can also schedule this for you.
This is an agreed time and day to follow up by phone with you to see how you are doing after your call with us. This is also an opportunity to reflect and talk through any challenges, as well as celebrate progress so far.
Hear2Talk is funded only for NSW workers – we are happy to redirect to appropriate services if you call from outside of NSW.
